KODÉ — Designing the Foundations of a Lifestyle Brand

KODÉ is a contemporary lifestyle brand launching with a jewelry collection and a long-term vision to expand into multiple product categories. Entering a highly competitive and saturated market, the brand required a clear and distinctive identity, one that could stand out at launch while remaining flexible enough to evolve over time. Filipe was responsible for designing the foundations of the brand. The work focused on creating a scalable visual identity system capable of extending seamlessly across products, touchpoints, and future categories, while maintaining a strong and recognizable core. The lifestyle and jewelry space is crowded, with many brands relying on familiar visual cues and short‑term trends. Kode’s challenge was to establish credibility and differentiation from day one, without over‑defining the brand in a way that would limit future growth. The identity needed to: Feel contemporary and confident Work within the jewelry category at launch Remain adaptable to future product lines Support both physical and digital applications

The visual identity is built around a restrained yet expressive system, allowing KODÉ to feel distinctive without being rigid. Core components include: A confident wordmark designed to work across scales A flexible typographic system that balances structure and personality A minimal color palette that supports both product and editorial contexts A visual language designed to adapt across packaging, digital, and physical touchpoints The result is a brand identity that feels refined, modern, and prepared to grow beyond its initial launch category.
